About This Call
10x10x10xTieton 2019 is an open, international exhibition at the Mighty Tieton Warehouse in Tieton, WA, running August 10 - October 6, 2019. All media are welcome. Works must be original, made within the previous three years, and no larger than 10 inches x 10 inches x 10 inches, including frame or case. Minimum two submissions required. Entry fee is $30 for the first two submissions and $10 for each additional artwork. Submit one JPEG per artwork.
Accepted works must arrive by Friday, July 12, 2019. Each accepted entry will be featured in a fully illustrated, handbound, hardcover catalogue, and each accepted artist will receive one free copy. The opening reception is Saturday, August 10 from 12 - 4pm. Artists will be notified by Monday, June 26, 2019.
Four Juror's Awards of $150 each will be given at the Opening Reception. There is also a People's Choice award of $150 voted on by gallery attendees. All sales will be handled through Tieton Arts & Humanities with a 40% commission. All pieces must remain up for the duration of the exhibition. Artists are responsible for shipping sold artwork to buyers. Work will be returned by November 1, 2019. Jurors include Beth Sellars, curator in the Pacific Northwest for 42 years and co-founder/curator of Suyama Space, and Christina Orr-Cahall, former CEO of Experience Music Project (MoPOP) and former Executive Director of the Norton Museum of Art.
