About This Call
10x10x10x Tieton is a juried exhibition of art, craft, print, and photography. Professional artists, crafts people, print artists, and photographers are invited to submit entries. No geographic limits. All entries must be of original design and personal execution.
All media and visual disciplines are accepted, including sculpture, painting, drawing, prints, craft, photography, and film/video/projection, created within the previous three years. No piece may be larger than 10 inches x 10 inches x 10 inches, including frame or case. Submit one JPEG image for each artwork. Entry fees are $20 for the first artwork and $10 for each additional artwork.
Jurors are Mare Blocker (artist and President of the Book Arts Guild), Lindsey Merrell (printmaker and graphic designer), Todd Tubutis (Executive Director of Blue Sky Gallery, the Oregon Center for the Photographic Arts in Portland, Oregon), and Patricia Watkinson (former director of Pilchuck Glass School). Cash prizes will be awarded. Each accepted entry will be featured in a fully illustrated, handbound, hardcover catalogue, and each accepted artist will receive one copy. Notifications will be sent on Friday, June 29, 2012. Accepted works must arrive by 5pm Wednesday, July 11, 2012. Each accepted entry must be installation-ready, framed or encased, with appropriate hanging hardware and installation instructions, and clearly labeled with artist's name and title of the work. The opening reception is Saturday, August 11, 2012, 12-5pm. Additional receptions are scheduled for Saturday, August 25 during Highland Community Days and Sunday, September 23, 12-5pm, at LiTFUSE: A Poets' Workshop.
