10th Annual 5x5x5 Show

The 10th Annual 5x5x5 Show is River Oaks Arts Center's signature miniature art exhibition, open to all visual artists currently living and working in the United States. The exhibition features 2D and 3D works in all media, with work completed within the past year. Guest juror for 2025 is artist and educator Ross Jahnke, a printmaker and painter who is a full-time Professor of Art at Nicholls State University.

Artists may submit 1-3 entries at $15 per entry. Work must not exceed 5x5 inches or 25 square inches for 2D pieces; 3D work should stay within 5"h x 5"w x 5"d. Original works only (no reproductions, though etchings and woodcuts are accepted). If matted, mats must be off-white or white with no frame and mat size exceeding 11x14 inches. All work must be ready to hang with wired hangers preferred. River Oaks receives a 30% commission on all sold works; all entries must be priced for sale and prices cannot be changed after acceptance.

Awards include Best in Show ($500), Beck Crowell Creative Award ($100), two Merit Awards ($100 each), and Honorable Mention. The exhibition runs November 13, 2025 through February 7, 2026, with an opening reception and awards presentation on November 13. Jury acceptance notification is October 24, 2025. Artists are responsible for shipping and insurance costs; accepted work must arrive by 5 p.m. Friday, November 1. Unsold work will be returned after March 15, 2026, or may remain in River Oaks' Gallery Gift Shop at the same 30% commission rate. River Oaks reserves the right to photograph exhibited work for publicity in printed and electronic materials.
