100th All Media Exhibition

Established in 1922, the All Media Exhibition at the Ann Arbor Art Center (A2AC) is a juried competition open to all artists 18 years and older who live in the Midwest Great Lakes region including MI, OH, PA, IN, IL, MN, and WI. This is the 100th and final year of the exhibition. The guest juror is Darryl DeAngelo Terrell, a Detroit-based artist, curator, DJ, organizer, and educator who works primarily in lens-based media, performance, sound, and writing.

Artists may submit up to three images per $35 entry fee in any combination of individual artwork or detail images. Artworks must have been created within the past three years and not previously shown in any other Ann Arbor Art Center exhibitions. Artwork dimensions should not exceed 72" in any direction. Mediums can include 2D, 3D, performance-based work, video, and sound. The jurying process is anonymous; however, artists must submit a short artist statement (150 words or less), bio, and CV.

Awards include Best of Show ($500), Second Place ($200), Third Place ($100), and two Honorable Mentions. Artists will be notified of juror selections on October 3 via email. Artwork ship/drop-off deadline is October 19-26. The exhibition runs November 18 - December 30, 2022, with an opening reception on Friday, November 18, 6-9pm. Accepted artwork must arrive ready to hang or with specific directions for special/nontraditional installation. The A2AC retains a 50% commission on all sold artwork. Artists are responsible for all shipping and return shipping costs. Work may not be withdrawn before the close of the exhibition.
