NEW BEGINNINGS
Celebrating the Opening of the Buenaventura Art Association's New Art Center/Gallery
This show is open to Buenaventura Art Association members only. If you are not a member, any fees you have paid will not be refunded.
THIS IS A NON-THEMED, JURIED MEMBER SHOW: “New Beginnings"
Aim to impress with your recent work! Any theme or medium. Merit Awards will be given. Winners will be invited to participate in a winners' show at the end of the year.

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES:
Thursday, July 23, 2026, midnight
NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE:
Monday, July 27, 2026 end of day
RULES:
1. You may enter and upload up to three pieces of any medium or theme.'
2. Size restrictions apply: pieces accepted up to, but no larger than 864 square inches total between both entries, (36 x 48, for 1 piece for example including frame.
3. Works that have already been exhibited at ANY of our locations within one year of the deadline are ineligible.
4. 2D pieces must be wired for hanging. Canvas pieces must be gallery wrapped.
5. Pedestal or counter space provided for 3D.
ENTRY FEES:
$12.50 for first piece, $10 for second piece, plus $3 processing fee = $25.50 total for both.
SIZE RESTRICTIONS:
864 square inches total between two pieces.
1 piece = 36’x48’ max size
Or two pieces that total 864” between them
BRING-IN DATE:
Thursday, July 30, 1PM - 3PM ONLY
RECEPTION:
August 1st, 2026
EXHIBIT RUNS:
September 12, 2026
PICK UP DATE:
Sept. 15, 2026
***IMPORTANT***:Accepted artists are required to host (2) 3.5 hour sessions in the new gallery during the exhibit. Hosting times are available on a first come first served basis. Sign up times are located on Signup Genius. (Add LINK)
