NEW BEGINNINGS
Celebrating the Opening of the Buenaventura Art Association's New Art Center/Gallery
This show is open to Buenaventura Art Association members only. If you are not a member, any fees you have paid will not be refunded.
THIS IS A NON-THEMED, JURIED MEMBER SHOW: “New Beginnings"
Aim to impress with your recent work! Any theme or medium. Merit Awards will be given. Winners will be invited to participate in a winners' show at the end of the year.
JURORS: BAA Exhibit Committee
DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES:
Thursday, July 23, 2026, midnight
NOTIFICATION OF ACCEPTANCE:
Monday, July 27, 2026 end of day
RULES:
1. You may enter and upload up to two pieces of any medium or theme.'
2. Size restrictions apply - please measure including frame:
*** If you wish to enter two pieces: each piece can be no larger than 432 sq. inches ea.
*** If you wish to enter a piece over 432 sq. inches: You may enter only one piece if it is greater than 432 sq. inches, up to a maximum of 864 square inches.
3. Works that have already been exhibited at ANY of our locations within one year of the deadline are ineligible.
4. 2D pieces must be wired for hanging. Canvas pieces must be gallery wrapped.
5. Pedestal or counter space provided for 3D artwork.
ENTRY FEES:
$12.50 for first piece, $10 for second piece, plus $3 processing fee = $25.50 total for both.
MORE ABOUT SIZE RESTRICTIONS: UPDATE
To strive for maximum participation given limited space, we are adopting the size restrictions as stated above:
- you can enter one piece of any size up to 864 sq. in. = $15.50
- you can enter two pieces of any size up to 432 sq. in. each = $25.50
