Winter 2027 Juried Exhibition
Juror: Orly Cogan
Blue Mountain Gallery, located in the heart of New York City’s Chelsea art district, invites artists working in two- and three-dimensional media to submit work for its 19th juried exhibition. The gallery is pleased to have Orly Cogan, a leading voice in contemporary fiber art for more than two decades, as the juror for this year’s exhibition.
JUROR: ORLY COGAN
Cogan's work has been exhibited at the Museum of Art & Design and The Jewish Museum in New York, and internationally. She is represented by Robert Mann Gallery in New York City for her photo-fiber work and by Tracey Morgan Gallery in Asheville, NC, for her mixed-media work.
THEME: RENEWAL
RENEWAL is the theme of this New Year’s guest-juried group exhibition:
A theme of new beginnings, transformation, and the possibility of change. Consider what renewal might look like: shedding an old skin, a new season, a repaired or reinvented object, a fresh perspective, or a moment of personal awakening. Works might explore ideas of growth, resilience, reinvention, healing, emergence, or simply the feeling of turning a page and starting anew.
All juried exhibitions are accompanied by a fully illustrated catalog and promoted to collectors, critics, media, artists, and art lovers through the gallery’s website, social media, press releases, and major art listings. Over its 45-year history, Blue Mountain Gallery exhibitions have been reviewed in Art in America, The New York Times, The New Republic, and Hyperallergic, among other leading publications.
MEDIA: Painting, drawing, printmaking, collage, mixed media, photography, and sculpture are welcome. Digital art, giclées, and other reproductions are not accepted. Artists from around the world are encouraged to apply.
FEE: The entry fee is $45 for 1–3 images, plus $6 per additional image up to 10. All work will be for sale unless otherwise stated, with 100% of proceeds going to the artist.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: November 18, 2026
APPLICANT NOTIFICATION: Results will be posted on the Blue Mountain Gallery website by November 30, 2026. Artist will also be notified by email; the website posting is the official notification.
