The First International Bionantism Art Contest 2025 is a unique opportunity for artists worldwide to take part in the launch of a new artistic theme: Bionantism – the organic fusion of nature and technology into a living, unified reality. Unlike fantasy or steampunk, Bionantism avoids magic, dystopia, or utopia, focusing instead on a credible harmony between bios and mechanism. Whether through painting, drawing, mixed media, or sculpture, this contest invites you to interpret the dialogue between natural and mechanical forms in your own creative language.
Organized by TDV ART by Mihai Ionescu, the world’s first known 24/7 art gallery, located in Bucharest, this event is more than a competition – it is the foundation of an international artistic movement. By joining, you become part of the very first generation of artists worldwide to explore and shape Bionantism.
Participation is completely free. Digital art and AI-generated works are not accepted, as the contest focuses on traditional and physical mediums. Each artist may submit one original work, accompanied by a work-in-progress photo and the final image. Selected works will be printed or displayed physically at TDV ART by Mihai Ionescu, ensuring visibility in an exhibition space that never closes, welcoming visitors day and night from all over the world.
? Prizes: $2,000 total
1st Prize: $1,000 + 2 nights free accommodation in Bucharest + Certificate
2nd Prize: $600 + 2 nights free accommodation + Certificate
3rd Prize: $400 + 2 nights free accommodation + Certificate
All finalists will benefit from international promotion. Winners and selected participants will have their works exhibited at TDV ART, accompanied by online campaigns and global visibility efforts.
