The East Coast AAPI Art Contest was born out of the desire to empower our community to share their stories loudly and unapologetically, especially young AAPI artists who are still trying to find their place in between worlds. To uplift these underrepresented voices, we offer the opportunity for visual artists of all experience levels along the East Coast to showcase their work.
To participate, submit your original work that answers the following prompt: 'What does it mean for you to be Asian or Pacific Indigenous in America?'
All entries must be received between Monday, September 27, 2021 and Saturday, October 30, 2021 by 11:59 PM EST.
Cash prizes will be offered to the artists whose works best respond to the prompt and theme of this contest. The cash prize amounts are as follows:
Robert W. Deutsch Prize: $400
Hoffberger Family Prize: $300
APAC AAPI Contest Prize: $200

This contest is sponsored by Fusion Partnerships, The Robert W. Deutsch Foundation and Hoffberger Family Philanthropies.
