A juried Group Show with Grand Prize: a Solo Show at Atlantic Gallery in NYC’s Chelsea art district. Entrants are invited to join their fellow Fugitives from Reality in their Desperate Flights (of Fancy). Recalling the famous saying:
“In Dreams Begins Responsibility,” artists may consider Escape/ism as a staging ground for renewed engagement with the Real World.

Juror: Katharine Dufault, Curator, Art Consultant, Visual Artist
British born Katharine Dufault is a New York Times-reviewed artist, curator and visual arts consultant. She has advised non-profit gallery boards, sat on visual arts panels and served as juror for several awards. Dufault graduated with honors from Columbia University, with a degree in painting and literature after studying visual arts, graphic design and photography at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge, England. She is affiliated with The Painting Center, Chelsea NY; Artsy; The Rye Art Center; Pelham Art Center, Center for Contemporary Printmaking, Ct. and the Katonah Museum, among others. Dufault lives and works in Westchester NY.
