Exhibition Overview
Art/Space 114 invites artists to submit work to our inaugural juried photography exhibition, The Magic of Light.
Film, digital, and alternative process photography (including hybrid approaches) will be considered. Photographers of all levels are encouraged to submit work that reflects the theme “The Magic of Light.”

This international call for entry is open to all artists working in photography. All entries must be original works of art and entirely the work of the entrant. AI-generated images will not be accepted. Accepted works will be exhibited at Art/Space 114 in Los Angeles, California.
Awards and Exhibition Details

Our jurors will select 50 images for exhibition at the gallery in Downtown Los Angeles.
Jurors’ Awards:
First Place: Solo exhibition at Art/Space 114 during The Magic of Light exhibition and $500 cash award
Second Place: $250
Third Place: $100
Four Honorable Mentions



Juror Biography

Ann M. Jastrab is the Executive Director of the Center for Photographic Art (CPA) in Carmel, California. CPA advances photography through education, exhibition, and publication.

Prior to CPA, Ann served as Gallery Director at RayKo Photo Center in San Francisco for ten years, where she developed a thriving artist-in-residence program. Multiple RayKo residents went on to receive Guggenheim Fellowships. She also worked as Gallery Manager at Scott Nichols Gallery in San Francisco, where she curated exhibitions pairing contemporary artists with legends of photography.
During her tenure at the Center for Photographic Art, Ann has created significant artist grant and scholarship programs to support creatives and students. She has expanded the organization from a regional arts center to one with members across six continents. Most recently, she launched PhotoCarmel, a photography festival celebrating the medium on California’s Central Coast.

Ann regularly serves as a juror and reviewer for numerous organizations and institutions.
