You are invited to apply to as an Emerging Artist. The qualifications are: ages of twelve and twenty-one (12-21) that are in high school, enrolled in an advanced art degree OR started an art career later in life.
AND
Regardless of age, has not been juried into an art show as an established artist.
This event provides emerging artists an opportunity to experience a fine arts festival alongside the seasoned art professionals that exhibit at Artstreet. Emerging artists can visit with professional artists and perhaps find a mentor who shares their passion.
Artstreet will be held in Ashwaubenon at Ashwaubomay Park, in Wisconsin, on August 23rd-25th, 2024. Artstreet, an event that attracts an estimated 75,000 visitors, is recognized nationally, by artists, collectors, and professionals, as one of the premier art festivals in the Midwest.
Rules of Entry:
1) All artists must meet the age or requirement levels.
2) All artists must create their own original artwork.
3) You must submit a separate entry, set of images, and jury fee for each category you wish to present in. You may only exhibit work in those categories for which you are accepted. (For example, if you apply in painting and ceramics, but are accepted only in painting, you may not show ceramics at your booth.)
4) The only works that may be showcased are to be described in the artist application or shown in submitted images.
5) All tents, tables, chairs and other display needs shall be provided by the artist.
6)Artists must supply their own booth structures/tents with sufficient weights. Only White, Heavy-Duty, EZ-Up tents and Framed Tents are permitted.
7) Emerging artists must be present at their booth during the full hours of operation. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
8) The following is prohibited: Work made from a kit, services (such as face painting, hair beading, etc), the sale of food, games, including prize-winning or raffles, and the use of licensed, trademarked, or copyright characters, names, symbols, etc.
9) Overnight security will be provided, however, Mosaic Arts Inc. is not responsible for any theft or damage.
10) Mosaic Arts Inc. reserves the right to remove works of art considered objectionable to the public, deemed unacceptable, or not representative of the images submitted.
11) Exhibitors are responsible for collecting WI sales tax (5.5%) on all sales made.
12) Exhibitors must not pack up or close down early.

Saturday, August 24 | 10:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday, August 25 | 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
