Small Works, Big Joy 2026

Arts Center East invites artists to submit work for our upcoming exhibition, Small Works, Big Joy. This curated show celebrates the power of small-format art, highlighting the craftsmanship, creativity, and precision that flourish within limited dimensions. This exhibit will be open during our popular Annual Holiday Artisan Fair through December 19. All works must be 12X12 or smaller. Open to all media, including ceramics, sculpture, fiber, painting, photography, mixed media, metal, and more.

Eligibility & Media
Open to all artists. All media are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, printmaking, and textiles so long as the work adheres to the size restrictions.

Size Requirements
Each piece must not exceed 12 inches in any dimension (including frame or mount, if applicable). Sculptural works must fit within a 12' cube. All artwork encouraged to be priced under $200.


All wall-hung artwork must be properly wired with two loops and professional picture wire. Saw tooth hangers, photo frames with triangular tabs, tape, string, monofilament, other types of wire, or any other materials are not acceptable and will be refused, regardless of advance notification of acceptance. No artwork can be affixed to our walls.

Artwork must be delivered completed and ready to be displayed.
