Painting stories into public spaces.

Artist Statement

Growing up in Queens, New York, I learned to see life through its movement. I drew while riding the subway, explored neighborhoods on foot, studied jazz improvisation at York College, and found endless inspiration in the city’s monumental architecture and vibrant street art. My New York upbringing, combined with the storytelling traditions of my Hungarian heritage, evolved into what I call Pop-Renaissance, a visual language that brings together the narrative richness of classical painting with the accessibility and playfulness of contemporary life. Every place is part of an ongoing human story, shaped by the people who live there and the generations that came before them. By listening first and creating second, I hope my work becomes another chapter in that story, inviting curiosity, creativity, and belonging. Every project begins with immersion by walking the streets, riding public transportation, meeting people, and listening to their stories. Rather than arriving with predetermined answers, I begin with the understanding that every place already holds the ideas, beauty, and creative spirit that make it unique. Whenever possible, I invite the community into my creative process, transforming viewers into active participants. My goal is to create public artwork that cultivates belonging, inspires creativity, and transforms everyday places into lasting landmarks that become inseparable from the people who experience them.
