Artist Statement
I graduated from university with a BFA in Visual Art and Art History (Honours), specializing in painting. After earning my degree, I studied Graphic Design and worked as a professional graphic designer for many years. Recently, I have been able to pursue my passion for painting full time. The abstraction of landscape, interests me, and I love to express the feeling of the natural world, the sense of freedom of wild open spaces, the drama of big skies, mountains, cliffs, forest and water, all recreated on canvas. I seek a balanced composition with thought given to colour, line, tone, texture and shape.
