Artist Statement

I have spent my life creating art inspired by past experiences, my present surroundings, and the possibilities ahead. I rarely sketch or plan my ideas in advance; instead, they come from within and evolve as I work. With each piece, I add and subtract, step back and interpret what I see, then make changes until the work feels complete.

To me, painting and sculpture are equal parts art, craft, and experimentational—a process filled with trial and error, frustration and joy. At times, creating can even feel like a science, with countless variables leading either to an eye-opening result or the disappointment of a piece that does not quite reach its potential.

Every piece I create is one of a kind, shaped by my imagination, experiences, and hands. I am constantly searching for new ways to adapt my ideas and transform them into meaningful, inspiring artwork. If my work captures someone’s attention and invites them to pause, feel, or reflect—even for a moment—I have succeeded.
