Artist Statement

My motivation to create stems from a desire to explore the complexity of human emotions and connections—art is my way of untangling these threads and making sense of the world. Nature has always been a profound influence on my work, with its raw beauty and endless cycles of renewal serving as a metaphor for the creative process. I am deeply inspired by the interplay of textures and materials, which is why my work often incorporates mixed media. Layering paper, paint, and found objects allows me to tell stories that feel tactile and immersive, bridging the gap between the physical and emotional. For me, creating art is not just about visual appeal but about building layers of meaning that invite viewers to linger, reflect, and connect with their own experiences. While I’ve been an artist for many years, I continuously research, experiment, and learn from others who push boundaries and make bold decisions.
