Artist Statement

My paintings have been described as exuberant expressions of floral still life. They reflect detailed realism combined with an inventive and evocative use of color that captures the moment. “As an artist, I look for shape, color, and the “Wow” facture. Painting is a journey of exploration and discovery, looking and hopefully finding that special something that brings a painting to life and one that will touch someone else.” Trained as a Graphic Designer at Canegie-Mellon University, my paintings are solidly based with a strong sense of design.
