Artist Statement

Not only do I use acrylics and collage to create my artwork, I've been using oil and cold wax for many of my landscapes. I am largely self-taught but have had the privilege of taking workshops from such acclaimed artists as Qiang Huang, Gregory Kondos and Timothy Horn as well as David Lobenberg. My artwork changed from representational with sometimes a-typical subject matter, to more abstract using mixed media. Being a lover of color, my pieces use strong colors that radiate throughout the painting.
