Artist Statement
I love the beauty and wonders of the natural world. Vivid colors, organic shapes and breathtaking views inspire my paintings and celebrate the beauty of nature, When I walk or hike canyons, hills, and forested areas, it brings me a certain level of peace. I think as humans we are meant to walk dirt paths, not cement sidewalks. As we see more roadways and condominiums being built around us, I feel we are losing our connection to the natural environment that sits just outside the cities we build. I hope my work helps the viewer reconnect in some way to the wonders of the natural world.
