Neftali Cruz Luciano

Puertorrican Sculptor and portrait artist.

Artist Statement

My work focuses on figurative modeling, in natural clay, digital medium, charcoal and painting. The human figure has always fascinated me, how the anatomical machine works and how its expression can be a composition by itself. Everything starts from observation and then expressed by gestures to feel as natural as possible. My work aims at the sensibility of the audience to connect with a memory or a remembrance of a feeling.
