Artist Statement

I have spent my entire life around art and artists. My education includes a brief time at the California College of Arts & Crafts in Oakland, CA where I majored in Graphic Design, and later I finished up with a graphic design focus from a local college. I spent 10 years working as a graphic designer for a few major corporations in the Bay Area. I then owned and operated a construction business with up to 23 employees with my husband for 20 years. The construction business was sold in 2021, so I can once again focus on creating art. I enjoy drawing with graphite, charcoal, colored pencil and creating original digital art. I also enjoy photography and continue to dabble in graphic design. I like to create vibrant, colorful drawings that make me happy. And hopefully you, too! I now reside in Shingletown, California.
