Artist Statement

Characterized by overtly colorful, surreal imagery and movement-forward, whimsical patterns, the work compels the observer to contemplate the spectacle of the natural world while vague but perceptible iterations of objects and actions simultaneously capitalize on our natural sense of fear of the unknown. The overall impact seeks to impose a stark juxtaposition between the foundational capacity to feel and the advent and acculturation of technology.
