Artist Statement

My artwork explores the energetic currents of nature and the shifting landscapes of consciousness through contemporary abstraction. Working primarily with acrylic on canvas and paper, I layer luminous color, rich texture, and intuitive mark-making to evoke movement, sensation, memory, and the unseen forces that connect inner and outer worlds.
Rather than beginning with a fixed image, I allow each painting to develop through an intuitive process of layering, revealing, and responding. Organic forms emerge and dissolve, creating imagined landscapes that exist somewhere between the tangible and the subconscious.
I am drawn to moments of transition—where stillness meets movement, where something is beginning to emerge, and where perception shifts between what is seen and what is felt. My work invites viewers to slow down and enter these spaces with their own memories, sensations, and interpretations.
