Artist Statement

I build handcrafted post-industrial robots from salvaged parts, discarded electronics, and found objects — I call them
Limbots™. About a foot tall, finished with sand to hide the glue, weathered and sentient. Creating them is my therapy. I
battle anxiety, and when I have a glue gun in my hand, the rest of the world goes out the window. My process is
unplanned and intuitive — I don’t hunt for materials; the objects find me. There is no blueprint. The sculpture tells me
what it needs to be as I go.
