Artist Statement

Art doesn't settle into a single, fixed meaning. Like the wind, it can be experienced without translation—felt before it is understood.

My work begins in observation but drifts away from expectation. Familiar forms are reimagined through gesture, expression, and movement, inviting the viewer to pause and look again.

I am drawn to moments where beauty and surprise intersect, where something recognizable becomes newly seen. This impulse is rooted in my faith in a Creator whose imagination and beauty are echoed, however faintly, in my own work.
