Artist Statement

Every painting begins with a story. Sometimes it’s a friend who fills their home with fish art. Sometimes it’s my mom teasing that I’ve stolen all her bluebirds on our shared property. Those personal moments become the foundation for my work. I paint wildlife not only for its beauty but because it connects us to people, to places, and to memories. My goal is to create artwork that feels timeless, personal, and familiar, like something you’ve loved your whole life.
