Artist Statement
My work explores whimsical urban intervention and fiber-based pieces through the use of found materials, recycled fibers, text, assemblage, and unexpected visual encounters placed within everyday environments. I am interested in the small moments that interrupt routine and invite people to pause, look closer, and reconnect with curiosity and imagination. Many of my pieces incorporate discarded or overlooked materials, transforming them into playful and reflective works that blur the boundaries between public art, storytelling, and social connection. Humor, surprise, and hidden details often serve as entry points, encouraging viewers to engage with spaces they may otherwise pass without notice. Rooted in community engagement and accessibility, my work treats public space as an opportunity for shared discovery, where art can emerge quietly and unexpectedly to foster wonder, conversation, and human connection.
