Artist Statement

My work transforms cellular and subcellular structures into generative
frameworks, moving beyond scientific description into poetic abstraction.
Microscopy becomes a language for exploring form, color, and
spatial complexity.

By using scientific structures as scaffolding, I construct cinematic
environments that resist literal interpretation. There is a deliberate tension
between what is biologically recognizable and what is purely atmospheric.
Through a dramatic shift in scale, microscopic systems are expanded into
vast, navigable landscapes that invite viewers to inhabit the unseen,
reframing the body’s interior as a place of wonder, serenity, and emotional
resonance.

In this digital discipline, light functions as a structural force while color
serves as a psychological driver to guide the viewer through these meditative
spaces. The realization of these works as limited-edition prints on aluminum
and plexiglas emphasizes their materiality and permanence. Here, editioning
becomes a conceptual gesture, establishing boundaries around reproducibility
and reinforcing the singularity of the experience.
Ultimately, these environments invite a “contemplative gazing.” They mirror
the quiet intelligence of living systems, offering a space for reflection,
grounding, and inwardness.
