Artist Statement

My artistic practice investigates the intersections of gender and transfeminine identity through a diverse media approach, employing gender tropes to interrogate and redefine identity. By integrating feminist critique, transfeminine lived experiences, and contemporary art practices, I utilize methods such as digital and analog photography, repetition, readymades, and illustration to challenge binary gender constructs and underscore their fluidity. I critically examine and reconstruct the concept of identity through physicality and focus on the phenomenological aspects of the trans experience.
