Artist Statement

All my works, whether paintings or digital pieces, begin with only the intention of permitting what wants to happen. I work in acrylic, pastels, paint markers, and watercolor on canvas. I enjoy multi-media and love trying out new mediums and random combinations to see what happens. I have always loved science and nature and am able to combine them through explorations within my art. When it comes to inspiration, it typically comes from my experiences in the outdoors, forests, or even my backyard garden. I have always been a keen observer, especially when it comes to the small things that are often overlooked.
