Artist Statement

I work with photographic images on glass, which was how images were made in the early days of photography, before the invention of celluloid.
I apply emulsion to glas plates of various sizes, and gather the images both with and without a camera. I treat the images as found objects to be connected together with various framing devices, sometimes back lit panels, other times suspended in space creating a more sculptural quality.
