Artist Statement

I connect audiences with awe and wonder of nature, merging art and science through photography, storytelling and poetry. I love discovering new landscapes and places. While my passion for nature is tangible, I cannot fathom a day without creating. My love is the night sky but lately, I've been drawn to honoring a tiny section of landscape with mindfulness. Art becomes slow with an intention to see nature anew; the colors, sound, and smell of a place. In that moment, with a snapshot of emotion, I want to learn something I could learn in no other place.
