Artist Statement

In the year America turned 250, I can't think of a better photograph to submit than the Iconic Statue of Liberty shown against a gorgeous glowing sunset...an image which represents Independence, Freedom and Hope, feelings very prevalent with many at this time. One of my favorites, this piece makes me stop and smile everytime I see it!

Each piece of fine art photography that I create, captures a moment from my travels, that whilst fleeting, left a lasting impression on me. The natural light, colors and beauty of our ever-changing world is my inspiration, whether land, sea or animal. I use either a single image or a few images handstitched together, to create my final piece of art and my hope is, upon seeing it, people stop, pause, reflect and hopefully in that moment, the piece evokes emotions or memories that connect them to the image.
