Artist Statement

D. Allen White holds an Fine Art degree in Design and has spent years creating artwork both professionally and for personal exploration, while largely refraining from exhibition. This work marks a new chapter—using landscape and narrative as a means of social inquiry. Rooted in superstition and memory, the work reflects on places once held sacred and how they are altered, consumed, or surrendered over time. What was once sacred is now sacrificed.
