Artist Statement

I work primarily in painting and portraiture as a way to capture the human experience. With every piece I make, I try to hold something deeply true, honest, and personal. I’m drawn to subjects that are often avoided or overlooked, and I aim to bear them into painting as something permanent and sacred.
