Artist Statement

I am a multidisciplinary artist specializing in photography and movement performance/direction. My practice explores the intimacy of movement and how sensory experiences trigger authentic responses in the body. With a background in dance and gender studies, my work examines how various components of identity are performed and embodied.

I design environments that are sensorially rich—incorporating materials, textures, and props that invite the body to respond authentically. I am interested in what happens when the body is confronted with unexpected sensation: how it adapts, resists, or surrenders. Through collaboration and experimentation, I seek to document these moments of authentic response, where identity becomes visible not through performance but through unguarded presence.
