Artist Statement

Across warp threads under high tension, the Master Weaver lovingly and carefully works His choice of yarns through our days, over and under all that He has established in our lives. I have the great privilege of joining Him in this work of weaving, of slowly and purposefully bringing color and texture to the warp of my life and to the loom. This is His redemptive work in and through me as His tapestry on display to those around me. Even though we only see the messy backside of the tapestry, we trust in His weaving, no matter how bleak the weft may seem. He never leaves the work of His hands, and He daily invites me to weave along with Him.
