Artist Statement
I create art as a deeply personal investigation into emotion, movement, and memory. My drive comes from an intense need to constantly experiment and push beyond my comfort zone. I strive to explore the profound connections between nature, culture, and individual experience. I'm not looking to provide definitive answers, but rather to open a space where viewers can engage with the work on their own terms, inviting them to interpret and connect with something that resonates and lingers long after they've moved on.
My artistic process is a dynamic blend of painting and mixed media. I mostly work with acrylics, incorporating diverse materials like pen, ink, charcoal, and Conti crayons to build rich layers and textures. This approach allows my abstract pieces to unfold organically, guided by both intuition and deliberate choices. Each mark and material chosen contributes to a visual narrative, creating a complex surface that invites close examination and deep personal reflection.
