Artist Statement

Finely Crafted by Cara is proud to be entering its 11th year of business. I am an embroiderer and quilter. My passion for this media has driven me to collect thousands of yards of fabrics, 6 multi needle commercial embroidery machines, 4 sewing machines and a 12-foot long longarm quilting machine. I feel everything I do and see influences my work. To me there is nothing more satisfying than planning a design, choosing the fabric or colors and creating it. Seeing that plan come to life is like being a gardener planting a seed and watching bloom. And that item finding its forever home is the most exciting part.
