Alison Sykes-Fryer

Artist Statement

Alison is an award winning artist whose main body of work is mixed media / collage, using acrylic inks and paints with local print media, to create an emotion or describe an event, object or place. She has lived and worked in Virginia Beach for over 10 years, and most of her work reflects experiences of living in this dynamic part of the USA. In July 2025 she became an Associate Artist at D'Art Center, Norfolk, Virginia.
