Artist Statement

Born and raised in Central New Jersey, I grew up on Saturday morning cartoons, video games and making art. I enjoy making big, bold, clean images. I consider myself a classically trained painter/illustrator. After a decade working as a professional artist, I transitioned to "digital painting." Recently, street art and collage inspired me to create my own version of Papier Collé. My final physical pieces are prints on archival matte paper.

My work ranges from melancholy portraits to bright whimsical pieces. The through line is the experimentation, output and culmination of a "Gen X" artist's exploration into a new creative technology.
