Artist Statement

I have a deep love of Nature; the trees, flowers, animals, and insects all attract my attention and give me a sense of wonder and peace. There is harmony and balance in nature. I also love the built environment; as an architect and artist, I appreciate the wonder of man's creation - the cities, houses, high rises, and structural designs have powerful lines and forms that can be beautiful to see. I focus on the beauty of the visual world, and like to capture it in light and in truth.
