Artist Statement

I am a Southern California artist currently exploring the human condition past, present and future both realistically and abstractly.

My paintings are not only my visceral response but also my sentinel of hope, promise and belief in the vast opportunity for mankind to change, overcome and heal.

My deepest desire with my art is to stimulate discussion, open new avenues of thought, give the viewer a profoundly moving experience, and transport them out of their current reality.

Art can lead us back to ourselves and reconnect us on a primal level. It is one of the ingredients in the primordial soup of Life that feeds us, sustains us, heals us and I believe… ultimately will save us.
