Artist Statement
I have always delighted in making things: photographs, gardens, ceramics, paintings, birdhouses, bookcases, dinners etc. Any and all forms of creation fill me with great joy and a sense of purpose. Since retiring, making art, in many of its manifestations, has become a way of life. I have sometimes had difficulty narrowing my choices for creativity to one area of interest, but for the past few years, I have landed my energies on photography and pottery. I am beyond fortunate to live in a location that provides infinite inspiration - in the way of stormy skies, deep ponds, ocean waves, song birds, tall trees and so much more.
