Artist Statement

I am a retired photojournalist, but have always been drawn to sculpture. I began in high school, and was able to work again when I had a studio for about 5 years in the early 2000s. The last nine years I've devoted myself to this practice. I was fortunate to find a studio right before the pandemic, and have produced many pieces during this period and since.
