Artist Statement

My work aspires to reflect the zaniness of the human mind, to convey beautiful interpretations of the human condition, as well as ideas that come from the infinite void of the mind. These ideas combine elements of reality and fantasy, as they are eccentric interpretations of real-life phenomena. They can encapsulate both internal, individualized experiences such as sexuality and grief, as well as more far-reaching ideas such as destiny and predation.

My style combines influences from both realism and illustration, while making use of bright, striking colors. The subjects tend to be photorealistic with a unique, abstract twist.
