Artist Statement

I love all forms of photography, and love black and white street photography the most. Though, I love bringing out the emotion in any 'decisive moment' I come across in my photographic wanderings. In the past, I have been exploring the intersection of abstract art and food photography. Looking at food in a different light takes an open mind and sense of playfulness. Who says that one can't play with their food? I also love to explore new cities (or my neighborhood) for interesting closeups and street photography, essentially embracing the moment and the unusual. My other passion is to encourage passion for photography in others, as well as promote fellow photographers and be a connector to all.
