Artist Statement
My art continues to be about observation and storytelling. I primarily use traditional glaze oil painting techniques to create contemporary figurative artwork. Figures and water are often depicted in my work, as I consider our relationship with each other and our world. I’m inspired by fleeting, contemplative moments in my everyday life. I invite the viewer to continue the stories for themselves.
