Artist Statement

Mason Young is a South Shore artist who has been sculpting metal and wood for more than 50 years. His intimate knowledge of wood and how it behaves allows him to bring out the hidden figures within the wood, and with painstaking attention to detail, results in small to medium sized pieces of art that beg to be touched and viewed from multiple angles.
