Artist Statement

I was born in Los Angeles and raised in Juneau, Alaska in a very beautiful natural environment with mountains, forests, Indians, Indian traditional artwork, and the sea close by. I enjoy painting wildlife, people and dogs. My Alaska background has made me a lover of nature, especially shore life.
